› Common Law Admission Test 2018 (CLAT)

CLAT is a national level examination which candidates need to clear, in order to secure admissions at 18 NLUs in India. CLAT exam was made online in 2015, thus, every aspect of the exam right from application stage to the counselling process will be done online.

May 13 : CLAT 2018 Exam
May 15 : Publishing of CLAT 2018 answer key (provisional)
May 16 - May 18 : Representation (if any) related to answer key or questions
May 31 : Announcement of CLAT 2018 result

Jun 2018

Jun 07 : Publication of the first indicative seat allocation list based on merit-cum-preference
Jun 07 - Jul 06 : CLAT 2018 Counselling
Jun 08 - Jun 12 : Date for payment of counselling fee of Rs 50,000
Jun 16 : Publication of the second allotment list after payment of counselling fee
Jun 17 - Jun 19 : Date for payment of counselling fee for the candidates whose names appear for the first time in the second provisional allotment list
Jun 19 : Last date of withdrawal from the Admission Process
Jun 24 : Publication of the third allotment list
Jun 28 - Jun 30 : Payment of full fees by the candidates whose name appear for the first time in the third allotment list to the allotted Universities & complete admission process

Jul 2018

Jul 04 : Date for receiving status of admissions from the participating NLUs in the CLAT Office
Jul 06 : Date of closure of admission process by the CLAT 2018 Office

May 2019

May 26 : Publishing of CLAT 2018 final answer key

Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) 20 marks
Legal Aptitude 50 marks
Logical Reasoning 40 marks
Total No. of Questions 200 marks

CLAT 2018 marking scheme: For every correct answer in CLAT 2018, candidates will be awarded one mark. However, for every wrong option selected by candidates, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
